Rework patch for an electronic circuit

Abstract

A rework patch (2) for an electronic circuit (1) includes a flexible patch body (21) and at least two patch traces (22). The electronic circuit (1) includes a substrate (11), at least two board traces (12) formed on the substrate (11), and at least one defect portion (121) within at least one of the board traces (12). The patch body (21) is attached to the substrate (11) to partially cover each of the board traces (12) and to cover the defect portion (121). The patch traces (22) are formed on the patch body (21). A pattern of the patch traces (22) corresponds to a pattern of a portion of the board traces (12) covered by the patch body (21). Fig. 3 is the most representative drawing of the disclosure.
