Abstract

Aerosol delivery devices (100, 200, 300) are disclosed herein. In one aspect, an aerosol delivery device (100, 200, 300) may comprise a control body (102, 202, 302), a heating member (132), a control component (123, 223, 323), a power source (124, 224, 324), and a removable aerosol source member (104, 204, 304) that includes an inhalable substance medium (110, 210, 310), the aerosol source member being configured to be inserted into the control body and defining a heated end (106, 206, 306) and a mouth end (108, 208, 308), the heated end configured, when inserted into the control body, to be positioned proximate the heating member. In some implementations, the heating member may comprise a base heating member (232) and a substrate heating member (233), wherein the base heating member is located in the control body (202) and the substrate heating member is located in the aerosol source member (204). In some implementations, the heating member may comprise a flexible heating member (332) that surrounds a heating cylinder (330) located within a portion of the engaging end of the control body (302).
