Abstract

The present invention discloses a centralized water management system for agriculture irrigation and / or flood mitigation. The system comprises a microcontroller unit (100) connected to a cloud server, a mechanical assembly (200) deployed to a hydro gate or floodgate, an electronic assembly (300) and an IoT platform (400). The mechanical assembly (200) is selected from a group comprising a gripper with a motor actuator, a linear actuator with a motor and a linear stem, and a screw jack with a motor attachable to a gearbox. The electronic assembly (300) is configured for providing associated parameter data to the microcontroller unit (100). The electronic assembly (300) comprises a plurality of sensors selected from a group comprising an air temperature sensor, an air velocity sensor, a water level sensor and a camera. The IoT platform (400) executable on a client device is configured for displaying the collected parameter data that is processed by the microcontroller unit (100). The IoT platform (400) comprises an input terminal for receiving a client command to override an instruction signal derived from the parameter data.
