A system for monitoring plant condition and method thereof

Abstract

The present invention discloses a system for monitoring plant condition comprising a plurality of sensors (1) disposed in predetermined locations on ground to form a network of interconnected grids for receiving one or more inputs of predetermined parameters of the plant condition to be analysed; a mobile apparatus (2) for capturing images of plants to be analysed; and a central command module (3) for analysing the plant condition through executing operation of modules including a plant characteristics module for analysing characteristics of plant leaves based on images captured by the mobile apparatus (2); a nutrient measurement module (5) for measuring nutrient content in the ground based on inputs received by the sensors (1); and a machine learning module (6) that generates a predicted classification result of the plant condition based on the analysis of any one or a combination of information gathered from the plant characteristics module (4) and the nutrient measurement module (5); wherein the mobile apparatus (2) is configured to perform a predetermined action on the plants based on the predicted classification result generated from the machine learning module (6).
