Protective structure for mounting part of child seat

Abstract

A striker (9) that locks a mounting leg of a child seat is provided on a mounting bar (7) mounted in a passenger compartment, and an electrical component (10) is disposed below the striker (9). A protective cover (20) that protects the electrical component (10) from the inserted mounting leg of the child seat is mounted on the mounting bar (7), and the protective cover (20) is integrally formed by a locking part (21) that is locked to the mounting bar (7), a shielding part (22) that covers the electrical component (10), and a fitting part (23) that is fitted to the striker (9) to position the protective cover (20). When the mounting leg is inserted and is shifted, the mounting leg comes into contact with the shielding part (22) and does not come into contact with the electrical component (10) located therebelow.
