Abstract

The present invention provides a toothbrush that can ensure handle section (14) operability and operability in the oral cavity. A toothbrush (1) includes a bristle implanting portion (11), a head section (12), a neck section (13), and a handle section (14). The head section (12) has a thickness t of 2.0 mm to 4.0 mm. The neck section (13) has a minimum width (W1) and a minimum thickness (D1) of 3.0 mm to 4.5 mm. The neck section (13) is provided with a curved surface (13a) on a side of the bristle implanting surface (12a) on a rear end side of the neck section (13), the curved surface having a center position (S1) disposed on the side of the bristle implanting surface (12a) and having a concave arc contour on the side of the bristle implanting surface (12a) in a side view. An angle formed between a plane P that configures the bristle implanting surface (12a) and a straight line N connecting a center point (G2) of the handle section (14) in a thickness direction at a grip center position (G1) of the toothbrush (1) and a center point of the head section (12) in the thickness direction at a center position (S1) of the bristle implanting portion (11) is 5.0° to 10.0°.
