Abstract
A solenoid unit (2) includes an armature (40), a center pin (41) and a pole piece (43), and the pole piece (43) is fitted in an inner case (36). The pole piece (43) includes an inward tube portion (46), and an oil discharge hole (50) is formed in a lower end of a flange portion (45a) of the pole piece (43). Metal powder flows along with a flow of oil without being accumulated inside the pole piece (43) and is discharged to an outside from the oil discharge hole (50) through first and second gaps (oil discharge passages) (48, 49).
