Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for preparing gentamicin-N. sativa using fusion emulsion, characterized by the steps of: dissolving gentamicin sulphate powder in distilled water to form a gentamicin solution; stirring the gentamicin solution at the range of 1000 rpm to 2000 rpm for 5 minutes to 30 minutes; adding emulsifier into the stirring gentamicin solution; stirring the gentamicin solution with emulsifier at the range of 1000 rpm to 2000 rpm for 5 minutes to 30 minutes; adding Nigella sativa (N. sativa) oil into the gentamicin solution to form a gentamicin-N. sativa emulsion; sonicating the gentamicin-N. sativa emulsion at the range of 50 pulse rate to 150 pulse rate for 20 seconds to 5 minutes; and storing the gentamicin-N. sativa emulsion at the range of 2°C to 5°C.
