Battery mounting structure

Abstract

A battery mounting structure (1) is intended to mount a battery (20) in a vehicle (2) including side members (5L, 5R) a floor panel (4), a battery case (30), and an exhaust pipe (40). The side member (5R) includes a front-side side member (5Rf), a rear-side side member (5Rr), and a side member connection portion (50R). The floor panel (4) includes an opening portion (10R) for accessing the side member connection portion (50R). The exhaust pipe (40) includes an upstream-side connection portion (41) and a downstream- side connection portion (42). The opening portion (10R) communicates with the inside of the side member (5R) via the side member connection portion (50R) and communicates with the outside of the vehicle through the side member (5R). The upstream-side connection portion (41) is connected to the battery case (30) and the downstream-side connection portion (42) is connected to the opening portion (10R). Figure 3
