A noise cancellation arrangement and a hearing protection device incorporating thereof

Abstract

Embodiments relate to a noise cancellation arrangement (100). The noise cancellation arrangement (100)comprises a first panel (200) positioned in such a way that it is oriented facing sound source, wherein the first panel (200) comprises a plurality of Helmholtz resonators (21) configured to attenuate sounds with frequencies higher than 3,000 Hz; and a second panel (300) positioned adjacent to the first panel (200), wherein the second panel (300) comprises a plurality of Bragg scattering, “BGS” modules (31) configured to attenuate remaining soundwaves that are not attenuated by the first panel (200). The noise cancellation arrangement (100) may be incorporated in a hearing protection device (1).
