Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of producing a scented plastic article, the method comprising the steps of melting a wax composite and calcium carbonate with a liquid scented material to obtain a first mixture, granulating the first mixture without additional heating to obtain scented wax particulates with reduced particle size, mixing the scented wax particulates with a polymeric material to obtain a second mixture, and extruding the second mixture to obtain the plastic article.
