Abstract

ABSTRACT A PANEL ASSEMBLY FOR AN INDOOR UNIT OF AN AIR CONDITIONER The present invention relates to a panel assembly (100) for an indoor unit of an air conditioner. The panel assembly (100) comprises a panel (110) covering an air inlet (120) of the indoor unit for allowing air to flow through when the air is drawn towards the air inlet (120). The panel (110) comprises a notch (112) below an air outlet (140) of the indoor unit, and at least one region adjacent to the notch (112) provided with an airflow path towards the air inlet (120), allowing air passing through the region adjacent to the notch (112) and to be channelled towards the air inlet (120) during operation of the air conditioner.
