ABSTRACT VENDING MACHINE AND METHOD THEREOF FOR DISPENSING PRODUCTS The present invention relates to a vending machine (100) comprising: a housing (10) defining a storage unit for storing a plurality of products (11); a shelf (20) disposed within the storage unit, the shelf (20) having a plurality of channels, each channel configured to hold different products (11); a dispensing mechanism provided in each of the channels, configured to dispense the products (11) from the shelf (20); characterized by a lifting tray (30, 31)movable in front of the shelf (20), configured to collect products (11) dispensed from the shelf (20); a product camera (40) configured to locate the product (11) in the shelf (20) and determine availability of the products (11); a lifting tray camera (50) configured to detect available space in the lifting tray (30, 31).
