A cross-culture multi-strain fermentation preparation for the production of polysaccharide-rich extract from plants

Abstract

The present invention describes a cross-culture multi-strain fermentation extract preparation method with high polysaccharide content and better yield in final product. The method comprises the steps of preparing desired probiotics cultures and botanical substrates to initialize the cross-culture multi-strain fermentation. The fermentation extract prepared according to the invention described has been proven to significantly improve the total phytochemical content, total yield and total polysaccharide content compared to fermentation extract harvested from single-strain fermentation.
