Abstract
A method for dyeing cotton-polyester blends in a one-bath process under neutral condition wherein pH range from 7.5 to 8.5 at 130 °C for 15 ~ 45 mins and eliminated the needs of alkaline agents, characterized by dyeing said polyester fabrics and cotton fabrics simultaneously, instead of the traditional two-bath dyeing process. The present invention comprises a dyeing solution formulated with combination of disperse dyes (2.7); reactive dyes (2.6); pH buffering agent (2.2); leveling agent for cotton (2.3); leveling agent for polyester (2.4); anticrease agent (2.5); salt (2.8) and water (2.1).
