ABSTRACT A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CATHODE FOR LITHIUM BATTERY The present invention relates to a method for producing a cathode for lithium battery (100). The method (100) is characterized by the steps of mixing carboxymethyl cellulose with water to form a carboxymethyl cellulose solution (10); adding cathode active material of NCM111@ZIF-8, carbon black and water to the carboxymethyl cellulose solution, and mixing to form a first mixture (20); adding styrene butadiene rubber to the first mixture and mixing to form a slurry of a cathode composition (30); wherein the mixing steps are performed using one or more ball mills.
