A flood detection and indication device

Abstract

The present invention relates to a flood detection and indication device (100). The flood detection and indication device (100) comprises a sensor (102) to detect presence of water and measure water level, a set of light components (104) to provide visual indicator and a buzzer (106) to provide audio warning signal. An electronic control box (108) connected to the sensor (102) is included in the flood detection and indication device (100) to provide water level information to the set of light components (104) and the buzzer (106). A power source (110) can either be battery or solar power to provide power for the flood detection and indication device (100). To house the sensor (100), the set of light components (104), the buzzer (106), the electronic control box (108) and the power source (110), a metal pole (112) is used as main body.
