A system and method for multi-hazard monitoring and notification

Abstract

The present invention discloses a multi-hazard monitoring surveillance and notification system (100) comprising a data acquisition unit (101) configured for acquiring data from a plurality of data acquisition module; an assessment unit (102) configured for analyzing and processing data from the data acquisition unit (101) in order to forecast occurrence of hazard in an area; a reporting unit (103) configured for reporting result of the hazard occurrence forecasted by the assessment unit (102); and a notification unit (104) configured for alerting user on the reported hazard occurrence forecast in the area. The present invention also discloses a method for multi-hazard monitoring and notification (200) comprising steps of acquiring data from a plurality of data acquisition module (201); analyzing and processing the acquired data (202); reporting result of the hazard occurrence forecasted (203); and alerting user on the reported hazard occurrence forecast in the area (204).
