Abstract
The present invention relates to a probiotic composition for fish comprising a strain of Bacillus velezensis isolated from hybrid grouper. A method of preparing the probiotic composition includes steps of preparing an overnight culture of the Bacillus velezensis strain, centrifuging the overnight culture of the Bacillus velezensis strain to obtain bacterial pellets, and resuspending the bacterial pellets in a stabilising buffer.
