Abstract

A vehicle control device (10) includes a communication unit (30) that performs communication with a slave side control unit (50), and a master control unit (40), the communication unit (30) is able to execute communication between the slave side control unit (50) and the master control unit (40), the slave side control unit (50) causes the output device (20) to execute output in response to an output instruction, and the master control unit (40) transmits a confirmation signal that confirms an output state to the output device (20), receives an output state signal indicating the output state related to the output device (20) output from the output device (20) in response to the confirmation signal, determines overlapping of output instructions to the output device (20) based on output requests from other control devices and the output state signal, and performs mediation when the overlapping is determined.
