Cold heading method for manufacturing crankshaft blank for air conditioners

Abstract

The disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a crankshaft blank, specifically a cold heading method for manufacturing an air conditioning crankshaft blank. The method produces the air conditioning crankshaft blank through multiple cold heading operations performed on a cold heading steel cylinder. The method offers the advantages of material savings and low cost. Furthermore, as the cold heading process requires no heating, the method does not alter the material properties of the cold heading steel cylinder, thereby preserving the material’s performance and avoiding the need for additional material treatments that would increase the complexity of subsequent processes.
