Abstract

ABSTRACT STENCIL PRINTER The present disclosure provides a stencil printer for printing assembly material onto a substrate. The stencil printer includes a frame, a stencil, a print head gantry, a squeegee assembly, and a transfer device. The stencil is removably disposed in the frame. The print head gantry is movably coupled to the frame in a first direction. The squeegee assembly is supported by the print head gantry and is movable toward and away from the stencil in a second direction, and movable in the first direction with the print head gantry. The transfer device is supported by the print head gantry. The transfer device includes a transfer tray, a first-direction cylinder, and a second-direction drive device. The second-direction drive device is configured to drive the transfer tray to move toward and away from the stencil in the second direction. The first-direction cylinder is coupled to the transfer tray and is configured to allow the squeegee assembly to move relative to the transfer tray along with the print head gantry in the first direction when the transfer tray is held stationary relative to the stencil on the stencil.
