Abstract

This specification provides a product upgrade method, an electronic device, a storage medium, and a system. The product upgrade system includes a server and a plurality of POS devices that are communicatively connected to the server. Each POS device is installed with a payment solution product. The server determines, from the POS devices based on version information to be upgraded to, upgrade indication information of a target POS device that needs to be upgraded, and sends the upgrade indication information to the target POS device. The target POS device upgrades, based on the upgrade indication information, a current version of the payment solution product installed in the target POS device to a version to be upgraded to. There is no need to return a POS device that needs to be upgraded to the factory, thereby implementing an intelligent product upgrade.
