QR code assistance request system

Abstract

The present invention relates to a system for requesting assistance, utilizing Quick Response (QR) code signages strategically placed in locations where assistance may be required, such as parking lots, restrooms, or campuses. Each signage includes a QR code encoded with location-specific data in the form of either a unique Uniform Resource Locator (URL) or a common URL with embedded parameters. Upon scanning the QR code using a mobile device, a connection is established with a server hosting at least one webpage. The server processes the location-specific data and provides an interactive communication interface offering dynamically tailored communication modes, such as voice call, video call, or text chat. Alternatively, the system can bypass the interface and directly initiate a predetermined communication mode based on system settings or user preferences. The server identifies the user’s location, processes assistance requests, and routes them to an appropriate assistance provider via communication links. This system facilitates prompt, location-specific assistance for both emergency and non-emergency scenarios, ensuring an efficient and user- friendly experience.
