Integrated intelligence dengue outbreak early warning system

Abstract

A system for early warning of a dengue outbreak comprising a data acquisition module (100) integrated with a cloud storage for enabling real-time data collection and storage, wherein the data acquisition module (100) comprising one or more microclimate data (110) retrieved from one or more IoT sensor and one or more epidemiological data (120) retrieved from a health authority. A pre-processing module (200) generates a structured format data (203) by performing an automated data cleaning (201) and a data aggregation (202) for both the microclimate data (110) and the epidemiological data (120). The analytical module (300) further has one or more machine learning models (301) for generating a predicted data (306) of a likelihood and severity of the dengue outbreak. Further, the predicted data (306) of the likelihood and severity of the dengue outbreak is stored in a database, and is further retrieved by an insight tool for visualizing a data, a trend, and predictive insights in real-time of the dengue outbreak.
