Abstract
The present invention relates to a rotor lamination (20) for a laminated rotor core (21) of an electric machine with a number of mutually stacked rotor laminations (20). The rotor lamination (20) is provided with a magnet hole (26) near its outer circumference edge (27) and, according to the present invention, a wall part (30) of the rotor lamination (20) between such magnet hole (26) and outer circumference edge (27) thereof, is partially oriented in radial inward direction. Hereby, during rotation of the laminated rotor core (21) in the electric machine, a compressive (reaction) force occurs in the said wall part (30) that favorably increases its mechanica) strength and / or decreasing its magnetic permeability.
