Crane system for lifting objects, vessel comprising such a crane system and a kit of parts

Abstract

The present invention is related to a crane system for lifting objects, wherein the crane system is mountable in an interior space of a vessel, comprising at least one hoist beam, comprising at least one securing element, such as a hook, for securing at least one object to be transported by the at least one hoist beam, and at least one guide structure configured to be coupled to the vessel, wherein the at least one hoist beam is movably engaged or engageable to the at least one guide structure such that the at least one hoist beam is translationally movably arranged in the interior space, and at least one actuating mechanism, comprising: at least one transmission, preferably at least one belt, wherein the at least one transmission extends in a direction substantially parallel to at least a part, preferably a substantial part, of the at least one hoist beam, and at least one coupling structure for selectively establishing at least two mutually different coupling positions between the at least one hoist beam and the at least one transmission, and at least one drive for driving the at least one transmission. The invention further relates to a vessel comprising a crane system and a kit of parts.
