Abstract

Title: Removal of PFAS from a liquid Abstract Method of extracting per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS) from a stream, comprising the steps of: - providing pressurized carbon dioxide in a container; - providing the stream into the container, wherein the stream comprises PFAS and a liquid; - exposing the stream comprising PFAS to the pressurized carbon dioxide in the container such that at least a fraction of the PFAS in the stream is transferred from the stream to the pressurized carbon dioxide; and - separating the stream and the pressurized carbon dioxide comprising at least a fraction of the PFAS.
