Aquathermal heat transfer system

Abstract

Aquathermal heat transfer system for transferring aquathermal energy between a body of open water and a thermal transfer liquid, the system comprising: - a water intake device that is arranged to be positioned in the body of open water for taking in water from the body of open water, - a heat transfer device for transferring thermal energy between the taken in water and the thermal transfer liquid, wherein the heat transfer system is arranged for keeping the taken in water separated from the thermal transfer liquid, wherein said heat transfer device is in liquid connection with the water intake device, and wherein said water intake device comprises: - a floatation member for floating on top of the body of open water, - a water intake port that is surrounded by a shielding member for blocking suspended and / or floating objects, such as leaves, branches, different sorts of residual waste, and wherein the water intake port is fixed stationary to the floatation member for moving with the floatation member such that, when in use, the water intake port is arranged to move, at least along a vertical direction, in response to a change in water level of the body of open water, wherein the water intake port is arranged, as seen along the vertical direction, below an upper end of the floatation member, such that the water intake port is arranged below the water level.
