Coated pipeline having a joint coating

Abstract

A method for producing a coated pipeline comprising two aligned pipe members which are interconnected. The pipe members comprise an inner pipe configured to convey a hydrocarbon fluid, which inner pipe comprises an inner pipe end. The pipe members comprise furthermore a surrounding thermal insulating pipe coating having an embedded pipe conduit. The pipe conduits are used to form a duct configured to hold a heating line.
