Transformer station for electrical power distribution in a power distribution network, the transformer station comprising a base, a roof and a side wall defining an enclosed interior space, a transformer system arranged in the interior space, a ring main unit arranged in the interior space, connected to the transformer system, a first member of a plug-socketassembly, which first member is arranged in the side wall and has an internal part and external part, a plurality of interior power cables extending between the ring main unit and the first member to connect the ring main unit with the internal part of the first member, wherein the external part of the first member is exposed to the exterior of the housing and is configured to plugged together with a mating second member of the plug-socket—assembly, the second member being mounted on an exterior power cable.
