Dispenser for dispensing a solid product

Abstract

In a first aspect, the present disclosure relates to a dispenser arranged for holding and dispensing a solid product such as a solid deodorant from a cartridge, wherein the cartridge further comprises a cartridge housing surrounding at least partly the solid product, wherein the solid product is movable relative to the cartridge housing, the dispenser comprising a housing comprising a receiving space arranged for receiving the cartridge and an outlet opening arranged for allowing the cartridge to be provided in the receiving opening, a platform arranged for supporting the solid product in the receiving space, a dispensing arrangement arranged for moving the platform in a movement direction, by actuation of the dispensing arrangement, between a first position and a second position wherein in the first position the solid product protrudes further in the receiving space than in the second position, a blocking arrangement arranged for blocking the cartridge housing from exiting the receiving space, preferably for blocking movement in the movement direction when moving the platform between the first position and the second position; and, a viewing opening provided in a side wall of the housing positioned such that, during use, a predetermined part of the cartridge housing is visible to a user for identification of the cartridge and / or for determining a position of the cartridge housing relative to the housing. The invention further relates to a cartridge for use with the dispenser, and an assembly of the dispenser and the cartridge.
