Abstract
The present invention is directed to improving a sliding part deterioration detection system for a submerged bearing with an oil seal having increased sealing properties and to providing an oil seal of a lubricant supplement type having a through hole that allows lubricant to be supplied to an oil seal lip portion from the outside of the oil seal. A sliding part deterioration detection system 10 for a submerged bearing according to the present invention includes a sliding part deterioration detection pipe 40 one end of which is connected to a bearing box 24 of a submerged bearing 20 including the bearing box that supports a rotating shaft underwater and including a lubricant supply unit 30 that is connected to the bearing box and supplies lubricant to the gap between the bearing box and the rotating shaft at a predetermined pressure, and the other end of which has an opening that is arranged on land to release the pressure of the lubricant having moved to the bearing box to the air, so as to enable the deteriorations of a rotary sliding part and an oil seal 28 to be detected based on the state of the pressure of the lubricant and the mixture state of moisture having entered the lubricant, and based on a change in the appearance of the lubricant. The material of the oil seal is polyurethane, which is wear-resistant, and two or more oil seals each being the oil seal are arranged side by side in the bearing box along the longitudinal direction of the rotating shaft, and any one of the oil seals is provided with a lubricant supplement hole for supplementing the lubricant.
