CONVENIENT MEASURING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OCEAN SOUND VELOCITY PROFILE

Abstract

This disclosure discloses a convenient measuring device and method for an ocean sound velocity profile, belonging to the technical field of marine hydrological parameter testing. The device includes a tooling shell, and a testing module, a trigger mechanism, a release mechanism, and a counterweight mechanism mounted thereon; and a watertight electronic cabin and a horizontal blind hole are arranged in the tooling shell. The testing module collects and stores a hydrological parameter; the trigger mechanism drives a transmission rod to move by adjusting air pressure in a cavity in cooperation with water pressure and spring pressure; and the release mechanism releases the constraint under the action of the transmission rod, releasing the counterweight mechanism. After the device is put in, the counterweight is automatically released when the device sinks to a set water depth, and the device floats up for recovery by virtue of buoyancy.
