Abstract
A method and apparatus for tensioning a wire fence is disclosed. The apparatus includes an inner arm which is moveable by hydraulic means to clamp against an outer arm, with a wire fence arranged to be located between the inner and outer arms. The apparatus is mounted to a vehicle which can move to tension the clamped wire. The outer arm is latched to the apparatus by a hinged and locked latch, allowing it to be readily released from the outside of a fence.
