Support product

Abstract

A support product for forming a pavement course, the support product being configured to receive poured concrete. The support product comprising a latticework of walls and a plurality of edges, wherein the walls extend between a lower surface defining a base end and an upper surface defining an elevated end, and define a plurality of cells, wherein at least one edge comprises a catch and a partial keyway, wherein the catch is configured to connect with a catch of an adjacent support product to restrain relative movement of mutually adjacent support products, and wherein the partial keyway is configured to be located adjacent to a partial keyway of the adjacent support product, so that mutually adjacent partial keyways define a complete keyway between the mutually adjacent support products, wherein a thickness of at least some of the walls decreases along the respective wall from the base end to the elevated end, wherein a planar portion extends substantially perpendicular to at least some of the walls at the base end, the planar portion comprising a channel therethrough, each channel aligned with a cell of the plurality of cells to provide, together, a hole through the support product, and wherein the support product is configured to be filled with the poured concrete such that the poured concrete extends from the lower surface to the upper surface so that the plurality of cells and the complete keyway are substantially filled with the poured concrete.
