Abstract

The present invention discloses a hand brake for railway wagons, comprising a tank body, and a manual driving mechanism, a release mechanism, a chain driving mechanism, and a monitoring mechanism arranged in the tank body. The manual driving mechanism includes a transmission shaft, and a planetary gear train and a clutch mechanism arranged on the transmission shaft. The release mechanism includes a release shaft, a pawl rotatably sleeved on the release shaft, and a shift fork fixedly connected to the release shaft for coaxial rotation, with the shift fork drivingly cooperating with the clutch of the clutch mechanism. The chain driving mechanism includes a chain winding gear and a chain winding shaft. The monitoring mechanism includes a travel switch signalconnected to a control center. The hand brake for railway wagons of the present invention can provide braking and release status information for locomotives; after collecting the signal, the locomotive can realize real-time monitoring of the braking and release status of the hand brakes of train vehicles. Meanwhile, the chain output force is greatly improved; after adopting the hand brake, the vehicle hand brake device can be simplified, and the vehicle parking capacity can be ensured without using mechanisms such as movable pulleys or hand brake levers.
