Abstract

A tool (1) and a method for at least one of gripping, expanding, and penetrating a wall (W) of a bore (P), the tool (1) comprising a first tool part (10) and a second tool part (30) arranged axially movable relative to each other. The first tool part (10) comprises a solid wedge (12), whereas the second tool part (30) comprises at least one wedge arm (32); 5- wherein the first tool part (10) further comprises at least one influencing portion (14) configured to be radially movable upon contact with the at least one wedge arm (32) of the second tool part (30); and 10- wherein the at least one wedge arm (32) is configured to be moved axially along the solid wedge (12) so as to be forced radially outwards and thus push the at least one influencing portion (14) radially outwards.
