Abstract

This refers to oral pharmaceutical formulations, procedures for their preparation, and their use in the treatment of disorders such as cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, including diabetes. An oral pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of Formula I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein each R is H, halogen, substituted or unsubstituted C1-4 alkyl, and substituted or unsubstituted C1-4 alkoxy; A is H, substituted or unsubstituted C1-4 alkyl, substituted or unsubstituted phenyl, among others; n is 0, 1, 2, or 3; and the asterisk indicates a stereocenter; and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, wherein the compound of Formula I has a D90 particle size of less than about 200 micrometers.
