Abstract

The present invention relates to an imidazopyridine-based compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and a composition comprising the same as an active ingredient for preventing, alleviating, or treating inflammatory gastrointestinal diseases or diseases related to gastric acid. The imidazopyridine compound of chemical formula 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R1 is (A), (B), (C), among others, R1a to R1k are independently H, cyano, substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl, among others; R2 is -NR2aR2b, wherein R2a or R2b is independently H, cyano, substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl, among others; R3 or R4 are independently H, cyano, substituted or unsubstituted C1 to C30 alkyl, among others.
