HEMOSTATIC DEVICE FOR EXTERNAL WOUNDS

Abstract

A hemostatic device for external wounds, characterized in that it comprises: three circular layers of the same radius arranged one on top of the other, being an upper layer, an intermediate layer and a lower layer; the upper layer consists of a circular sheet-like outer covering of impermeable material, which has a plurality of copper wire filaments arranged as radial fractals on said circular sheet, in addition in its center there is a chemical container that holds an aseptic acid liquid and sodium bicarbonate separated by a dividing fabric; the intermediate layer consists of a circle of absorbent gauze-like material surrounded by an adhesive border; and the lower layer consists of a circular protective sheet made of wax paper.
