Abstract

The present invention relates to a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR), comprising: (a) an extracellular antigen-binding domain that specifically binds to a group 5 family C (GPRC5D) member of the G protein-coupled receptor, (b) a human CD8 transmembrane domain, and (c) a human CD137 intracellular signaling domain. The invention further relates to a nucleic acid molecule encoding the CAR, a vector comprising the nucleic acid molecule, a cell comprising the CAR or the nucleic acid molecule, and a pharmaceutical composition containing said cell together with a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, enabling the treatment of cancer.
