WORK TOOL SET WITH TIP ADAPTER AND ANTI-FLEXION STABILIZER FOR THE SAME

Abstract

A working tool assembly (22) includes a working tool lip (26) and a plurality of tip adapters (50) coupled to the working tool lip, each including an upper adapter leg (58), a lower adapter leg (60), and a mounting groove (56) receiving a front lip edge (34). Each upper adapter leg and lower adapter leg includes a first clamping projection (80) and a second clamping projection (82). The working tool assembly also includes anti-flex stabilizers (88) welded to the working tool lip, each including a clamping head (98) in contact with either the first or second clamping projection. The anti-flex stabilizers limit flexing of the tip adapters by reacting to bending loads at the tips of the teeth (28) of the working tool lip.
