AUTOMATED FILTRATION DEVICE WITH AUTOMATIC CLEANING FOR MUCILAGINOUS FLUIDS

Abstract

The present invention relates to an automated cleaning filtration device for mucilaginous fluids, particularly applicable to the treatment of fluids from the wet processing of barley. The device detects filter clogging by comparing the flow rate of the incoming fluid with the flow rate of the filtered fluid, identifying mucilage accumulation when the outflow rate is less than the inflow rate. In response to this condition, a central controller automatically activates a cleaning sequence comprising the injection of an aqueous degrading solution designed to reduce the adhesion of the residue retained in the filter, followed by a supply of water to remove any remaining residue and facilitate its removal.The device integrates solenoid valves, pumps, tanks, and level sensors, enabling continuous operation, reducing the need for manual intervention, and improving the efficiency of the filtration process. This allows for the automated and efficient restoration of the filter's operating conditions.
