OBSTACLE DETECTING GLASSES WITH HEARING ASSISTANCE

Abstract

The present invention relates to obstacle-detecting glasses with auditory and haptic assistance, designed to support the user's safe mobility by detecting nearby objects in their immediate environment. The device integrates a frame equipped with proximity sensors, a microcontroller responsible for processing signals in real time, a playback module, and side headphones that emit acoustic alerts according to the distance of the detected obstacle. It also incorporates a rechargeable battery and a charging module integrated into the frame, allowing for autonomous operation. Additionally, it features micro-vibrators that generate haptic alerts and an adaptive profile selection system, allowing the configuration of usage modes such as urban, indoor, and guide, in order to optimize energy consumption and reduce false alerts during operation.
