PORTABLE STATION FOR PASSIVE SAMPLING OF SETTLEABLE PARTICLES

Abstract

The present invention falls within the technical field of environmental instrumentation and atmospheric sampling systems. It addresses the limitations of known devices for passive sampling of settleable particles, such as lack of portability, low operational stability, and significant influence of external environmental conditions. As a solution, a portable station configured for the passive sampling of settleable particles by gravitational deposition is proposed, without requiring external energy or active collection mechanisms. The station comprises a transportable structure, a collection module with a collecting surface, and elements that allow for maintaining suitable conditions during the sampling period.The invention is applicable to environmental monitoring, emissions control, urban and industrial assessment and occupational studies, providing a versatile, reproducible and low energy requirement solution.
