MODULAR AUTONOMOUS TELEMETRY SYSTEM FOR MONITORING CONCRETE STRENGTH WITH RECOVERABLE PROCESSING UNIT

Abstract

A system and method for the autonomous, modular, and retrievable monitoring of concrete structural integrity are disclosed. The system integrates a retrievable logger and a sacrificial probe. Using Complex Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and thermal maturity models (Arrhenius), the device characterizes the cement microstructure in real time. Data transmission is proactive (PUSH Direct-to-Cloud) via WWAN, eliminating the need for manual intervention on-site and enabling a significant reduction in electronic waste and operating costs for critical civil infrastructure.
