Abstract

This utility model relates to a portable gas analyzer configured for the detection, measurement, and recording of concentrations of sulfur dioxide (SO₂), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), and ammonia (NH₃), intended for use in maritime, port, and industrial environments. The device comprises a portable structural unit that integrates at least one sensing module consisting of electrochemical sensors selective for each of the aforementioned gases, electronically coupled to a microcontroller programmed for the acquisition, conversion, and processing of electrical signals proportional to the gas concentration. It also incorporates a display module that allows for real-time display of measured values, a digital storage module configured for historical data recording, and a rechargeable, self-contained power supply that enables operation without a connection to the electrical grid.Additionally, the device can integrate a real-time clock module for synchronizing stored measurements. All components are housed within a portable enclosure, facilitating transport and field operation, and enabling continuous environmental monitoring with data traceability. This configuration provides a relatively low-cost, portable solution for the simultaneous measurement of multiple polluting gases, overcoming the limitations of conventional stationary equipment and making it suitable for environmental monitoring, emissions control, and air quality assessment in maritime operational areas.
