MODULAR AND FLEXIBLE SYSTEM FOR ANCHORING AND LIFTING CONVEYOR BELTS

Abstract

The modular and flexible system for anchoring and lifting conveyor belts comprises the use of gantries that perform different functions, including anchoring and guying gantries, lifting and direction-changing gantries, and conveyor belt support gantries. For anchoring the conveyor belt, high-capacity clamps and hoists are used, and anchoring is performed on both the loading and return sides in both directions. The lifting system utilizes telescopic arms with modular sections that allow us to lift the conveyor belt, loading and return sides, to the required height. This requires bringing both sides of the conveyor belt, loading and return, together at the required level. A system for changing the direction and aligning the conveyor belt is also required, utilizing pull bars, hoists, and anchor lugs.The modular and flexible system for anchoring and lifting conveyor belts frees up areas beneath the belts for maintenance, replacement, or installation of new components. This invention frees up the required work area, creating an interference-free workstation safely and in less time than traditional conveyor belt pulling, cutting, and vulcanizing systems.
