TOPICAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING DUTASTERIDE AND MINOXIDIL FOR ALOPECIA

Abstract

The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising: (a) an active agent comprising: (i) minoxidil from approximately 2% w / w to approximately 7% w / w, (ii) dutasteride from approximately 0.02% to approximately 0.07% w / w; (b) a means for solubilizing one or more active agents to provide stability to the solution state; (c) an acidifying agent, wherein the composition provides a pH of approximately 3 to approximately 7; and wherein the pharmaceutical composition prevents hair loss and / or stimulates hair growth.
